My art explores memory loss, abandonment, isolation, and neglect influenced by personal experiences of my early life in the foster care system and the effects of child abuse. I hope that someday bad parenting and domestic violence won’t continue to contribute to the overpopulation of today's society. With this body of work, I aspire to persuade people to evaluate the way they parent their children by shedding light on long-term effects of irresponsible and unprepared parenting.
